Cordyceps Mushroom Tea

Medicinal mushroom are becoming a staple in many people’s lives to strengthen the immune system. For women with conditions such as autoimmunity the immune system plays a vital role in one’s health. Cordyceps mushrooms have a sweet, warming taste which is important for improving the organs of the lungs and kidneys.

This is a fungi that is grown in China on the bodies of caterpillars. There are many common names for this mushroom, Dong chong xia cao, yarsha guma and semitake. Cordyceps is known to fight fatigue, calms the nervous system, improves lung capacity, contains cancer fighting properties and it rebuilds and strengthens the immune system.

Traditional Chinese medicine doctors use this medicinal mushroom for lung conditions such as, chronic cough, wheezing, emphysema and consumptive coughs. Much attention has been focused on Chaga’s for immune strengthening and anti-carcinogenic properties, that’s it’s being sold in many health foods as a tea or herb for purchase to improve one’s health.

Cordyceps mushrooms in a study shows that it may help the immune system recognize tumors that might not have had the capability without it. Other powerful effects of Cordyceps includes, cardiovascular and anti-aging effects.

The Cordyceps Immune Enhancing Tea:

Place all the ingredients in a sauce pan and simmer on low heat for a few minutes the transfer into a mug.
